IGNITE is a movement with a purpose to IGNITE the faith of the next generation of followers of Jesus Christ through life-changing worship, relevant teachings and authentic community. Students from grades 6-12 from around the region will gather in Wildwood to learn about God’s calling on their lives and go deeper in their faith journey.

We’ve intentionally left space for groups to gather, do some devotional/reflection time, enjoy the boardwalk, or just rest.
Is communion for everyone?
We believe in an open communion table; the table of Holy Communion is Christ’s table. The table is open to anyone who seeks to respond to Christ’s love and to lead a new life of peace and love. All students, volunteers and leaders will be invited to receive communion.
IGNITE is sponsored by the United Methodist Church. Do I have to be Methodist to attend?
No! Many of our speakers are not from the UMC. We are proud that the UMC of Greater New Jersey sponsors a high impact youth conference that connects with many Methodist Churches each year. But we aren’t exclusive. Your group will be welcomed, and you probably won’t realize that the event is sponsored by the UMC.
